Repetto has become a byword for flat shoes which are designed according to the technique used for the ballet shoes, and it is becoming stylish brand to stylistic fashion leaders. HISTORY

The history began in 1947 in Paris, France.
Rose Repetto, deeding her son’s advice, Roland Petit who is a legendary choreographer of France, started to design her first ballet shoes for the dancers of National Opera of Paris. In to time, Repetto became the reference for every dancer. In 1956, upon Brigitte Bardot’s request the first Repetto flat ballerinas were designed according to the technique used for the ballet shoes: “le cousu retourne. Soon, numerous stars and many women couldn’t resist to the appeal. The legend of Repetto was born. Since then, Repetto adjusted to the demands of the 21st century and has been able, for more than 60 years, to keep jealously the house expertise of its workshop in Dordogne. Repetto, like a unique promise of grace and lightless.
